In one of my recent posts I showed you swatches of MI-NY Holographic Pink and promised you a nail art, so here I am. The nail art I created is a simple water spotted design combining a holo and a creme polish.
In uno dei miei post più recenti vi ho mostrato swatches di MI-NY Holographic Pink e vi ho promesso una nail art, quindi eccomi qui. La nail art che ho creato è una semplicissima water spotted, combinando uno smalto dal finish olografico e uno dal finish cremoso.
Starting off with two coats of MI-NY Holographic Pink plus top coat, I used MI-NY Indipendent on top to create the water spotted effect. This time I used the lukewarm water+hairspray method as I found it worked better with this nail polish. It's a matter of trial and error, really. For cleanup I used Color 4 Nails' Crystalline Nail Veil, which I'll be reviewing for you soon.
Due passate di MI-NY Holographic Pink più top coat, e MI-NY Indipendent per creare l'effetto water spotted. Stavolta ho usato acqua tiepida e lacca perché l'aceto non funzionava molto bene. Bisogna provare e riprovare ogni volta, purtroppo. Per pulire il disastro sulle dita mi sono aiutata con il Crystalline Nail Veil di Color 4 Nails, di cui vi parlerò presto in una recensione.
Sometime I find the water spotted technique to be more problematic than water marbles. Nail polishes spread differently according to their formulas and sometimes they break in ways that are too uneven. It might just be that I'm hard to please, but I've done way better water spotted nail arts, among which this one and this one.
A volte trovo la water spotted più complessa della water marble perché ogni smalto ha una formula diversa quindi alcuni si separano in modi disomogenei. O magari il problema è che sono miss perfettina, però sta di fatto che ho creato water spotted migliori di questa, tra cui ricordo questa e questa.
