Pink dry brush nail art

Today's post is very special. This is the nail art I created for Breast Cancer Awareness month, but before I begin with this post, I feel like I should share something with you all.
Il post di oggi è per me molto speciale. Questa è la nail art che ho creato per il mese di prevenzione del tumore al seno, ma prima di cominciare vorrei condividere con voi una storia molto personale.

Almost a year ago my mother was diagnosed with breast cancer, which affected her breast and part of her intestine. Soon after that, she went through double surgery and started a therapy. My sister and I have been, are-will be, with her every step of the way, through recovery and through therapy. It's a constant battle, full of ups and downs, but the people that love you are so important along this treacherous path.Therefore, my message to you is one of faith and love.
Circa un anno fa, a mia madre è stato diagnosticato un tumore al seno, estesosi anche in parte dell'intestino. Qualche mese dopo ha subito un doppio intervento e ha cominciato una terapia. Mia sorella ed io siamo state, e siamo-saremo, presenti lungo tutto il percorso, fatto di molti alti e bassi. C'è stata tanta paura, c'è tuttora, ma mai abbastanza da eclissare il nostro amore e sostegno. Quindi questo è il mio messaggio, di amore e speranza, anche nei giorni più bui.

Starting from a light pink base, Sinful Colors - Easy Going, I used the dry brush technique to create a very random pattern. The colors I used are China Glaze - Urban Night, KIKO Cosmetics 313 Heather Pink and 275 Black.
Per comincare ho applicato una base rosa chiaro, Sinful Colors - Easy Going, e poi usando la tecnica dry brush, ho creato un pattern a caso con tre diversi colori: China Glaze - Urban Night, KIKO Cosmetics 313 Heather Pink and 275 Black. La dry brush è semplicissima, basta usare il pennellino dello smalto quasi asciutto e trascinarlo sull'unghia in verticale e orizzontale.

By the time I put the finishing touched to this nail art, my fingers were all covered in nail polish. I'm always so messy! I hope you liked this nail art and thank you again for reading this post.
