Hello!
Today we're going to talk about one of the new shades from the KIKO Poker Nail Lacquer collection, more precisely number 03 Suggestive Red. A gorgeous creme, rich and creamy, perfect pigmentation, evens out perfectly and dries fast. It can be a one-coater if you apply one thick coat. As many reds do though, it stains, so be careful with that.
These photos were taken three times, meaning I wore this nail polish three times and took photos in various times of the day. The problem with it is that it's too glossy and the photos were basically a huge glare. My lightbox isn't big enough for swatches so in the end I just had to remove some of the glare manually as best as I could. Because of that I didn't even want to post them, but after all the time I've spent on them I hope you won't resent me too much. You can imagine my disappointment after spending so much time, as always, cleaning up my cuticle area and edges to get the perfect shot.
Two coats in the photos, no top coat.
A classic red. Worn glossy or matte, like the tape nail art I showed you last week. I've never had such a problem swatching a color before, but I guess it's a good thing that the nail polish is that glossy on its own. I've seen some swatches of the blue shade and it won't be long until I try that one too. Hopefully you will forgive me for this défaillance.
