Classic white french gradient nail art

It's a beautiful sunny day here in Italy, the first day of summer in a while. A few weeks ago, when it was still super hot outside, I went to a friend's wedding. For the occasion, though I was wearing black and blue (BSB quote, yes!), I opted for a classic french manicure, but with a twist.
Prima giornata di sole effettiva della settimana, e sembra sia tornata un po' l'estate. Qualche settimana fa, quando c'era ancora un caldo torrido, sono stata al matrimonio di un amico. Nonostante il mio outfit fosse nero e blu, ho scelto una french manicure classica. O quasi.

Since regular white french manicures remind me of fake nails, the trashy kind, I went for a nude base. OPI - Coney Island Cotton Candy has a peachy-yellow undertone and one coat gives enough good coverage. On the tips I sponged a bit of WJcon - 718 and a tiny bit of Sinful Colors - Snow Me White where I felt I needed more coverage.
Come base ho scelto OPI - Coney Island Cotton Candy, dal sottotono pescato-giallo; una passata leggera. Sulle punte ho spugnato WJcon - 718 e un po' di Sinful Colors - Snow Me White dove volevo più coprenza.

Isn't this look very romantic? It always looks pretty and elegant for every occasion.
I'm sure many of you are not that fond of classic french manicures either!
A voi non sembra un look molto romantico? Secondo me è perfetto per ogni occasione.
Sono sicura di non essere l'unica a non amare la classica french manicure!
