Throwback Sunday Week 2: neon ikat nail art

Hi girls!

this Sunday I'm sharing with you a manicure I did back in August. It's the kind of crazy manicure you decide to do on a scorching hot Saturday night, half an hour before going out. I recreated this nail art after seeing a manicure by Kayla Shevonne on Instagram, using neon colors.
Eccomi qui con il secondo post Amarcord. Oggi vi parlo di una manicure che ho realizzato ad Agosto in un caldo weekend, trenta minuti prima di uscire di casa. Ho ricreato una nail art di Kayla Shevonne vista su Instagram, usando colori neon.

I started off with two coats of neon yellow by the Italian brand WJcon, and then I randomly drew some triangular shapes with China Glaze - White on White, followed by some neon pink, China Glaze Flip-Flop Fantasy, and some black over that. The ikat design requires light, feathery strokes using a small brush. Top coat to seal the design.

Due passate di giallo fluo/neon per cominciare, in questo caso un neon molto pigmentato di WJcon. Lavorando strato per strato ho aggiunto dei triangoli bianchi usando prima China Glaze White on White e poi il rosa neon Flip-Flop Fantasy. Come tocco finale un po' di nero al centro dei triangoli e qualche segno leggero tutt'attorno. Top coat fondamentale per sigillare tutti gli strati.
