Sailor moon collab manicure: Tuxedo Mask

This week I'll be back with at least a couple of nail arts, if the planets align like they're supposed to. To start off, Elena from Ere K.'s Beauty Shelf and I are back with another Sailor Moon inspired nail art. Tuxedo Kamen is Mamoru Chiba, interesting character with a tragic and painful past. Mamoru is a diligent student during the day but transforms into Tuxedo Kamen at night, saving Sailor Moon's life all the time. He he attacks mostly by throwing magic roses like darts at his opponents.
Questa settimana tornerò sul blog con almeno due nuove nail art, se l'allineamento dei pianeti va a buon fine. Per cominciare, io ed Elena di Ere K.'s Beauty Shelf siamo tornate con una nuova nail art Sailor Moon e stavolta ci occupiamo di un uomo: Tuxedo Kamen, aka Tuxedo Mask aka Milord per noi italiane. Tuxedo Kamen è l'identità segreta di Mamoru Chiba, personaggio molto interessante dal passato tragico e doloroso. Mamoru è uno studente diligente di giorno e di notte si trasforma in Tuxedo Kamen, salvando Sailor Moon più e più volte. Attacca principalmente usando rose magiche.

In my nail art I wanted to portray his mysterious side together with his romantic one. Index and middle finger are a bad attempt at creating rose petals with a water marble, though I think they fit in nicely with the overall look. On my middle finger I drew the mask, distinctive trait just as the sailors' bows, and the pinkie is the cutest one ever. A small bow tie with red and black roses.

La mia nail art vuole mostrate il lato misterioso del personaggio ma anche quello romantico. Indice e medio sono un tentativo andato male di creare petali di rosa con la water marble, anche se il risultato mi piace molto. Sull'indice ho disegnato la maschera, oggetto distintivo tanto quanto i fiocchi per le sailor, e il mignolo è un amore. Farfallino e rose rosse e nere.

Tuxedo Mask in the Crystal reboot has quite the sharp and crisp drawn lines and I like that, despite the long faces. It's interesting to see how the characterization has changed in the anime after so many years.

Tuxedo Mask nel nuovo reboot Crystal reboot ha delle linee molto precise e definite, e ciò mi piace nonostante le facce siano troppo lunghe. Mi affascina molto vedere come la caratterizzazione dei personaggi sia cambiata in tutti questi anni.
