Sailor Moon collab manicure: Sailor Saturn

New week new sailor guardian! The last of the outer senshis is the protagonist of today's nail art. Sailor Saturn, aka Otaru, is a quiet and delicate girl, the kind of girl who always gives off a sense of loneliness and vulnerability. Her powers are destructive and deadly as she can destroy planets, but in this destructiveness there is also a symbol of rebirth, which is what I like about her.
Nuova settimana e nuova sailor! L'ultima delle outer senshi è la protagonista della nail art di oggi. Sailor Saturn, aka Otaru, è una ragazza tranquilla e molto delicata, il tipo di ragazza che emana sempre quel senso di solitudine e vulnerabilità. I suoi poteri sono mortali e distruttivi, ma in essi è racchiuso anche un forte simbolo di rinascita, e questo è ciò che più mi piace del suo personaggio.

For my nail art I went all in with a purple galaxy using KIKO 255 as a base. On the index finger I tried to recreate one of Saturn's power attacks with a watermarble, drawing zig-zag lines in the water to make them look like lightning bolts. The effect is quite interesting.
Per la nail art mi sono sbizzarrita con la galaxy, che tanto si è prestata per queste guerriere sailor, e come base ho sfruttato il favoloso KIKO 255. Sull'indice ho provato a ricreare uno degli attacchi con la tecnica water marble, disegnando a zigzag per formare delle specie di lampi. L'effetto non mi sembra affatto male, anche se la tecnica va migliorata.

 On the whole, this is one of the more cohesive sailor nail arts I've done so far, color-wise and pattern-wise. The galaxy looks fascinating, and though the nebula effect wasn't exactly achieved, the colors are quite complementary. That Kiko is just the perfect base.

Tra tutte le nail art sailor, questa mi sembra una delle più coese in termini di colori e fantasie. La galaxy è sempre affascinante, e anche se l'effetto nebula non è proprio venuto, i colori sono proprio complementari.
