Today I have a special, crazy manicure to show you. It's been so hot this week that I ended up creating a manicure to match the insane weather. And what better way to do that than neon colors? This week I tried playing around with glossy and matte nail polishes.
Oggi ho una manicure speciale e un po' pazza da mostrarvi. Fa così caldo in questi giorni che ho voluto creare un look in sintonia con il tempo. E quale modo migliore per fare questo se non con dei colori fluo? Questa settimana ho giocato con i finish glossy e mat.
I started off with two coats of Sinful Colors - Snow Me White and added a coat of Seche Vite. When the nails were completely dry, I applied two strips of striping tape and added the neon colors. The yellow and the orange are WJcon 600 and 601. They dry really fast and the finish is demi-matte. The purple and the green are Island Girl - Surfer Babe and Waikiki Dream, which are incredibly pigmented and dry matte. No topcoat.
Per questa manicure ho cominciato con due passate di Sinful Colors - Snow Me White e una di Seche Vite. Quando le unghie si sono asciugate completamente, ho applicato sull'unghia due pezzettini di striping tape in modo perpendicolare e ho applicato gli smalti neon. Il giallo e l'arancio sono Wjcon 600 e 601. Asciugano molto velocemente e hanno un finish diverso dal classico neon/fluo, ossia sono una via di mezzo tra il mat e il glossy. Sulle punte invece ho usato Island Girl - Surfer Babe e Waikiki Dream, entrambi molto pigmentati e dal finish mat. Niente topcoat.
WJcon is an Italian brand of cosmetics that has lots of interesting products. I may have to try some of their newest sugar polishes. Island Girl is a brand form Hawaii. One of my Instagram friends was nice enough to send some to me. Thank you again, Nicole!
