Peach and purple color block nail art

After the most awful week, I'm finally able to post a nail art look I've been wanting to show you for a few weeks. It's a very spring-appropriate look inspired by this nail art by Marine from Marine Loves Polish, one of my favorite nail artists.

For the base I used two coats of WYCON Essential Elements in Peachy Pink. Once that was dry I added a coat of China Glaze - That's Shore Bright on two thirds of the nail. To create the color block effect I added some gold striping tape and added top coat to seal everything in. I took the photos on the second day and the tape had already started to come off, unfortunately.

This is the perfect look for those of you with short nails because it really elongates them. Mine look even longer, if possible. The contrast of peach and purple is perfect, and the bright gold brings the whole look together. Too bad for the tape lifting off at the corners. I hope you still like it!
