Color4Nails Crystalline Nail Veil review

It's time to review a product that I've been constantly using since I received it a few months ago. I'm talking about the Crystalline Nail Veil by Color4Nails, a nail supply store that ships all over the world. The Crystalline Nail Veil is basically a liquid tape that helps protect the skin from nail polish and can be peeled off once you're finished with your manicure. No more time-consuming cleanup.

Credo sia tempo di recensire un prodotto che ho usato incessantemente negli ultimi mesi. Sto parlando del Crystalline Nail Veil di Color4Nails, rivenditore online di vari brand di smalti che spedisce in tutto il mondo. Il Crystalline Nail Veil è praticamente scotch liquido che protegge la pelle dallo smalto e che si pela via come un velo. Niente più ore perse a pulire le dita dopo aver fatto una water marble o un effetto sfumato. Vediamolo più in dettaglio.

The bottle contains 8ml/0.27oz of product, a yellow liquid that will become a shade darker once dry, in approximately one minute. The striper brush allows to be very precise near the cuticle area and on the sides of the nails. It can also be used as actual liquid tape for nail art, but I haven't tried that yet.
La boccetta contiene 8ml di prodotto, un liquido giallo che diventa una tonalità più scura quando è copletamente asciutto, in circa uno o due minuti. Il pennello lungo (striper) da nail art aiuta nell'applicazione precisa ai lati dell'unghia e nella zona cuticole. Si può usare il nail veil anche come vero e proprio striping tape, ma ancora non ho provato.

The product has no drying effects and is so thin that you can't feel it on the skin. Just be aware that it contains latex. I wanted to show you the product in action with a couple of pictorials, one for a water spotted look and the other for a gradient. (I managed to get polish on my fingers anyway for the water spotted look, but it was my first time trying the nail veil)
Il Nail Veil non secca la pelle ed è così sottile che non si sente affatto, ma attente perché contiene lattice. Volevo mostrarvi il prodotto in azione quindi ecco due pictorial, un gradient e una water spotted. (Sono riuscita a sporcarmi facendo la water spotted ma era la prima volta che usavo il Nail Veil quindi non sapevo dosarmi bene.)

 

The Crystalline Nail Veil retails at $6, which is very affordable compared to similar products by other brands, and the shipping costs are really contained. The only things I can say I don't love are the smell, and the fact that it takes some time to cover the fingers if you do looks that are very messy, like water marbles. I just use another brush to apply it, so that's not an issue.
Il Crystalline Nail Veil ha un prezzo di $6, prezzo molto abbordabile se consideriamo i prezzi di prodotti simili di altri brand, e in più le spese di spedizione sono limitate. Di negativo ho trovato solo due aspetti: l'odore e il pennello, troppo sottile per ricoprire aree più vaste in breve tempo. Per l'odore ci si fa l'abitudine, e come pennello ne uso uno piatto più grande per velocizzare  tempi.

I really recommend this product to anyone who does nail art, or even for those of you who are quite messy when applying nail polish. It's a big help and you'll find that you can no longer do your nails without it.
Vi consiglio davvero questo prodotto, a tutte voi che fate nail art ma anche per chi magari è molto pastrocchione nell'applicare lo smalto. Il Nail Veil è un grandissimo aiuto, e dopo averlo provato scoprirete che non potete farne più a meno.
