Birthday manicure: blue and grey water marble

Happy Sunday, girls!

Today is a special day for my twin sis and I, a day of celebration and much love, but I still wanted to share with you what I wore on my nails for my birthday. I went for a special design, easily one of my all-time favorites: a flower water marble.
Oggi è un giorno speciale per me e per la mia gemella, un giorno di festa e tanto amore, ma volevo comunque condividere con voi la mia manicure di compleanno. Ho scelto di fare una nail art speciale: la water marble.

For the base I applied two coats of China Glaze - White on White so that the colors would pop out more, then I water marbled with Ski-High Top and Concrete Catwalk. I also used the white to give a little light to the flowers, otherwise it would've been hard to see the petals.
Ho applicato due passate di China Glaze -White on White per far risaltare bene i colori, e poi ho cominciato il water marble con Ski-High Top e Concrete Catwalk. Ho usato anche il bianco per dare più luce ai fiori, altrimenti con due colori i petali si sarebbero visti molto meno.

It's definitely not my best water marble to date but I love it anyway. The petals and their round shapes, the lovely blue in contrast with the grey, all cool tones for fall. I hope you enjoyed this look and keep an eye open for my Halloween manicure!
So che non è il mio miglior water marble, ma mi affeziono sempre a questi look dalla pervenza così artistica. I petali dalla forma arrotondata, il blue che contrasta con il grigio scuro, tutti toni freddi per l'autunno. Spero vi sia piaciuto questo look. Tenete d'occhio il sito per il look di Halloween!
